GE Mars PC Holter
Monitoring System Complete with Computer
What if you could predict who was at risk for sudden cardiac death?
Now,you can. Ground-breaking analysis programs are helping physicians
to accurately determine which post-infarction patients are at high risk
for sudden arrhythmic death. These exciting, new diagnostic and analysis
tools can pick up subtle ECG variations –with life-changing
results. They ’re part of the leadership technology found on
the MARS ® ambulatory ECG system –a Holter monitoring
solution already respected for its comprehensive suite of gold-standard
Marquette ® analysis programs.A sophisticated clinical system
that’s been scaled from the office to the hospital
enterprise. So, you can identify high-risk patients. And begin effective
therapies while there’s still time. Quite possibly, change the
outcome of a life.
Private practices can be equipped with the same innovative ECG technology and ease of use features as hospital-based MARS systems with the availability of a software-only version. Because the MARS system is a scalable solution,it can be easily configured from the hospital enterprise to the physician ’s office to meet all your ECG data acquisition and analysis needs – from basic Holter testing to advanced analyses that include risk stratification technology. Plus, its open architecture lets you freely move cardiac data and patient demographic information. And comprehensive data sharing is simplified with industry-standard communication. What ’s more, the MARS system fully integrates with the MUSE ® cardiology information system and CardioSoft ® diagnostic software for a more complete cardiology record.
To help physicians combat the alarming incidence of sudden cardiac
death (SCD),two GE-exclusive algorithms are emerging as powerful
cardiac risk stratification tools. Both provide additional cardiac
information –yet require no additional time, protocols or
electrodes. The Marquette T-Wave Alternans analysis program precisely
detects fluctuations in the ECG waveform, identifying an often missed
pattern variation that can indicate SCD risk. The presence of T-wave
alternans can help clinicians make earlier treatment decisions, such as
whether a defibrillator should be implanted. And the Marquette Heart
Rate Turbulence analysis program measures and compares the heart rate
before and after pre-ventricular contractions. These comparisons are
then used to determine the status of a patient ’s autonomic
nervous system, which is indicative of cardiac health – and
thus, predictive for SCD. Two breakthrough algorithms. Running
simultaneously during standard ambulatory ECG testing. Added to an
already comprehensive toolset of trusted Marquette Holter analysis
programs:
Software Only
Marquette Holter Analysis Programs:
- EK-Pro ™ Analysis
- Atrial Fibrillation Detection
- QT Interval Measurement
- ST Segment Measurement
- Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
- Pacemaker Analysis
The result is a wealth of detailed, accurate cardiac information. For
greater diagnostic confidence. And better decision support.
